I'm not sure if all the cell phone platforms feature identical versions, but this one here is on the J2ME platform (just like the other games I posted). I guess it's alright, though it's highly downgraded, WAY too easy (more near the end) and has somewhat unresponsive controls.

The game seems to feature 2 built-in "cheats". They're really easy to activate. Dial # anytime to activate the Barrier. Dial 8 anytime to scroll through the guns.

  • @terminegen It wont work on my phone. . :(

  • @TheTremor209 Apparently, it only works in some versions. It should be clear by now that Konami Mobile is nothing but pure fail.

  • Wait, Wait , wAit! How can I activate those cheats? Dial #? Dial 8? HOw?

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 But have you seen the "games" they offer(ed) on their site? Most are definitely accurate to the final product, with interesting tidbits here and there. And yes, I mean that most versions are taken from Konamimobile site.

  • @iniche Not THAT many... Most are ripped from KonamiMobile's site and slightly modded. And the result is the faulty games (such as that chinese Castlevania I that I could NEVER make it work.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 That makes sense actually. Many of the leaked beta's of Konami Mobile games came right out of the shitty java applet on konami mobile's (now broken as shit) official site. Did I tell you how much I hate Konami Mobile?

  • @iniche In a curious fact, there was also a leaked Beta Castlevania Order of Shadow. However, it lacked cheats and didn't save.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 Interesting, man. Thanks for the info :) Yep, I have all the versions you mentioned, it seems.

  • @iniche The Beta version, when it leaked, was only 176x220, but was compatible with many more resolutions. However, it had the cheat keys amidst the useable keys. I never enjoyed the Beta enough, so I don't know if it had all stages or not.

The Full Version is cheatless and is available for all resolutions. However, the 240x320 made it somewhat harder, because of some enemies seemed to interact with you offscreen. That and seemed the collision detection was more handicapped.

  • @Tsukiyomaru0 What do you mean, beta? What would the full version look like?
