Donkey Kong Country Returns - World 1-K: Platform Panic

Level 1-K: Platform Panic

This morning, my computer crashed and I thought I would be out of commission for a few weeks. Thankfully, my buddy Paul (RyogaWanderer) helped fix the problems. So if you see him around on here or on my streams, tell him thanks. =P

Back to the level, you must collect ALL of the KONG letters in each of the previous levels to unlock it. Platform Panic is a lot more difficult than any of the levels seen thus far. Indeed, the "_-K" levels in each World will definitely be a challenge...

It honestly never crossed my mind to go back to a level and get Diddy Kong. I'm sure it's way easier when you have him, since you can hover and take a few extra hits. But, oh well. Anyway, I tried to keep this one organized as possible. So what I did was include some runs where I got the Puzzle Pieces (there are no KONG letters to collect in this level), and then the final run where I beat the level. A death montage featuring everything else similar to what I did with some Super Mario Galaxy 2 videos was added to the end.

After this rather grueling level, we'll head to the boss level, where we'll face off against the first boss of the game, Mugly.

It took me about an hour to beat this The puzzle pieces were a piece of cake but the end of it wasn't easy at all. I kept dying at 6:26. But you did extremely well.

Damn, the reviews aren't kidding when they say this game is a lot harder than the DKC series from the Super NES days!

Hahaha I had heaps of issues on this as well, as soon as I finished it I YT'ed the level name and your playguide came up. It was refreshing to see someone else fail in all the same places :)

Ended up completing the level in the same amount of time you did. Nice video dude!
