The winter before last we had over 3 feet of snow so could'nt get the car out so had to go shopping so walked the the bus stop and took transit to downtown. The car sat almost a week.

Holy Crap! Three feet on snow. Was that from one storm? We haven't got a dumping like that since the storms that hit at the end of 1992 and snowed almost every week until March of 1993.

We don't get snow storms in here Melbourne, Australia! However we get severe tropical thunderstorms!

Well, I got dinner for tonight and canned goods for tomorrow. And the hygiene stuff. and a loaf and a quart is plenty. and got all this stuff early without rushing. No last minute panic here!

lol, I've heard this in CT. all the reporters or Meteorologists talk about is Bread, Milk, and Eggs. I've also experienced people who do call at the last minute for oil.

In 03 I lived in WV we got 38" Thought I'd walk the driveway to show the plow where to go. Well I fell down and could not get back up. I hear the plow coming up the driveway. Now I am getting worried she ain't going to hear me or see me. I thought to my self "I'm going to be fertilizer in the spring" .Well she did stop obviously. I went up to the house got the wife and left for Florida and stayed there for 9 years and just moved back.

Yes that was one storm. It started snowing and it just snowed and snowed and more snow, some carports and some roofs collapsed from the weight of the heavy wet snow including my car port roof and landed right on the car.
