My speech about stuttering that won 1st place in the area 51 International speech contest and second place in the Division E contest in Washington state. I didn't mean to make it as humorous - it is my Russian intonations.

  • Thank you, John and thank you, Harold. I wish I could sqeeze in this speech everything that I have been doing in order to make changes in my speech, but I just was too victory oriented:) Worries of how not to go over time, how not to lose the audience attention with too much information etc. Well, it was my first time in the International contest. Next year I will try to tell my story in more details:)

John, I wouldn't be able to go that far if not for your book. That's for sure!

I LOVED the speech you gave at the Area 51 International Competition. What a role model you for all the other people in the stuttering community. You prove it can be done.
