@acs1978aus I like to shave before showering because if there is any leftover shaving cream in a hard to reach spot, when you shower it gets rid of the leftover cream.

Why is it people from the "expert village" never have a god damn clue. You will get a far better shave AFTER your shower, the steam and heat will open your skin pores, the water will soften your beard and cause the hair folicles to extend. You will get a far far closer, smoother shave that way.
If you have an issue with steam on your mirror . . .wipe it off!!! . .or get a fog resistant mirror.

Shouldn't you shave after showering? The skin is softer and the pores are open, thus you get a smoother closer shave. If you shave before showering, the skin is tighter, and you usually need to shave again by the end of the day.
