-By the way, I'm sad to see all these people complaining that this is "ruining Miku's image."
-This is not even meant to be a commercial, or on TV. It's just a little skit. So most Americans probably won't see this unless they look for it.
-It's not like Miku has abandoned leeks/negi or vegetable juice for hotdogs. It's not even her official food, it's all widely accepted fanon. She (who is a fictional character) is just sampling some of the local food because of the LA concert.
-The 3D model looks similar to the Sega model; it just looks awkward in live action. And what do you expect, Sega's a video game company, they have better models.
-Finally, Miku was already "commercialized" to begin with (to sell software) unlike a doujin project such as Touhou, so stop complaining about how "poor Miku is whored out/raped/exploited by greedy corporate monsters." I love Miku but I acknowledge that she's not real.
