I remember watching videos like this on tv and internet day-dreaming , 2-3 yrs ago..If Oooonnly they was an academia in my city!
I started training by myself, kinda like the Senzela group did back in the days, and then i found an amazing group in my city, Grupo Sul Da Bahia. Since then my life has completely changed, i encourage any passionnate individual to start capoeira..sooner then u think u'll live, breath and smile Caaaapoeira!!

Capoeira, once banned by the Brazilian colonial society, is now openly accepted as Brazilian heritage. Culture is fluid in that it will accept and adopt ideas around it even if such ideas are seen as alien and even dangerous. The human experience is one of adoption in that cultures are always built up from layers of past belief and practice that came before them. Capoeira is one of the best evidence of this.

lol Funny we recently had a Kung-Fu master come to our school in Ohio and he said he has a lot of respect for it and thinks the principles it teaches are fine among other Martial Arts. That opinion is from a Kung-Fu MASTER. What are your credentials again? ; )
