Cliff and Elfin Morgan - Celebrating Trey's 1st year. This is the video we played at his party. Photos from birth to Trey's birthday - mostly at Children's Medical Center Dallas, TX and Ronald McDonad House Dallas.
Trey was born with a diaphragmatic hernia. He had surgery twice to repair the hernia. He also had a heart condition called PDA (Patent Ductus Arteriosis), which also required surgery. He managed on oxygen until he got pneumonia a 4 months old. The next 6 months were spent at Children's and our last bit of training was at Our Children's House Baylor. We, his family stayed with him every day. Cliff and I alternated nights staying with him at the hospital and staying with the other 3 kids at RMHD. At 9 moths old he had his tracheostomy. He has been home since February 11, 2010. Mom and Dad alternate nights in the living room taking care of him - we choose not to have nursing.
