Of course, it had to be an Asian.

Music ist viel zu leise, bei voller Lautstärke kaum was zu hören??

Very nice to see the organist concentrating and adapting on all the institutions while making this great performance. Very well done and thanks for this video.

This makes my soul cry out. It could have also been named Lachrimosa.

Quite an achievement!. Virgil Fox has also a remarkable rendition of this piece. Perhaps Fox's version has more tension at the ending, you can sense the underlying power of the instrument, controlled by the organist's will. Anyway, kudos for this interpretation.

somebody earlier was critical of the registration. Not me. Bach wrote this piece for string ensemble - not organ. All Dr Watanabe is doing is attempting to mimic the ensemble with his registration - and he did it very effectively - BRAVO Dr Watanabe!!! Obviously, he would not register this way for "Wachet auf ruft uns die Stimme", "In dir ist Freude", "Nun Komm der Heiden Heiland", the Syphonia #29, or other specifically organ compositions
great job...air on the g string is not easy to play...esp. on organ. but when it is, and its played right, its sounds great.
