Review:
The wireless microphone works very well; I do not know the exact distance it can go before loosing reception, but I would guess it could up around a dozen or so yards (I have never had any reception issues). The lens is decent, but I rarely use it... The battery usually lasts for hours and I rarely have it go out during shooting. And a special note about the remote: I actually do not know if it is compactable with this camera because it is from my HDR-HC5 and I have never tried it with my HDR-HC1 (I kind of edited the remote into this video by accident).

I just bought the sony bluetooth mic. works really well. Get the silver one not the black. the black one holds only one AAA battery. the silver one hold two.
