  • kook2222: a general observation (about archaeologists) cannot apply to the particular - us. We practice archaeology and use metal detectors and work with metal detectorists.

  • Nonsense: these graves are shallow and being destroyed by plowing. We are protecting whatever we can. What we remove goes to the local museum.

  • I'm a qualified archie and a metal detectorist with a responsible club. This is a good example of archies and detectorists working together - the way it should be - as everybody benefits.Nighthawks deserve to be locked up.

  • A well recorded and researched project using everyone to save a site that would have been lost. Great respect was lavished on these burials, and no additional disturbance beyond what was needed. An exampler volunteer project.

  • archie tossers,F.O.A.D.

  • I agree with ur comment, however archies dont hold that view when metal detectorists say the same. LOL bunch of hypocrites.
