My sister is indoctrinating her kids heavily into fundamentalist christian dogma.. I expressed they should have a choice to her, when she flipped shit on me about mentioning dinosaurs and theories about what happened to them to my nephew.. She cut me out of their lives for a week until I patched it up for their sake. She has fully abandoned reason, and her and her husband want to force it upon their kids, and hide all other views.

Well this just goes to support my view.
Religious fanatics do NOT love their children. They love their dogma. If their children conflict with their dogma, they get abused until they do, or ejected from the family.
Religious fanatics are trash like that, And I see this sort of stuff pretty often.

@pliskin543 What's grandiose about unbelief based on lack of evidence? I don't believe in UFO's, Yahweh or Zeus because I have seen none of them. All you arrogant, presumptuous believers have are emotional blackmail and emotional appeal. If anyone is holding grandiose beliefs and being dishonest, it is you. I really don't know who you think you're kidding, other than your religious cohorts.

@letmebeyourknight In my opinion, if someone disowns you for lack of belief in a god then they aren't very close to you to begin with anyways.

So the guy is living with his girlfriend. The parents' religious convictions have helped them accomplish exactly the opposite of what they wanted to achieve. Food for thought.

Revelation is necessarily first person.
Though I would argue whatever personal revelation you've had was more than likely something naturally explainable.

@pliskin543 What are you trying to convert me on youtube from being an atheist?
LOL

@espnfan54 There a thing called observational positivity. The only reason its not a scientific acceptance is because it vary from person to person. He exist because i have observe thing that made 1 exist. Your just blind to your own enviroment have a good life and god bless.
I was diswoned by my mother and well my whole family because I'm not religious. But I can't say I'm sad, I'm actually happier because I wasn't close to my family anyway and I'm not hearing all of their religious bull crap lies. It's a good thing in my case.

God made me an atheist, who are you to question his decision?
