IF one believes in god, one should believe it is impossible to break 'gods laws' or whatever, it is a core part of the structure behind death. You break the law you die slowly. Abortion, the induced termination of a foetus that would otherwise life, is an abomination in all regards, that includes rape children, disabled or pregnancies in which the bearer's life is at risk.

Any law imposed by the Lord need not be justified, for the rationality of an impeccable being is not something for question.

If you are not Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Jain or Buddhist, do whatever - morality probably doesn't exist.

If your would be son was really brain dead he would already be dead, as his brain would have effectively failed that is what brain dead means. The body would have continued to grow until full term and you would have given birth to a corpse. You had a miscarriage that your body could not eject so you medically induced the discharge.

You didn't have an abortion, you ejected a stillborn baby.

Now, if the child had down's or something then you'd be of moral question.

@minmelethuireb2 not all abortions are performed simply because it is 'easier' or the child is 'unwanted'. I wanted my son desperately and wish he was here everyday, but he was brain dead. There is no way you will convince me that ending my pregnancy on my terms was wrong, rather than go through the rest of the pregnancy, knowing that I would give birth only for my son to die within minutes of birth if not during, not to mention the emotional pain of being visibly pregnant and dealing w/public.

the cloth thing you mentioned is in the Old Testament, and therefore no longer applies since Jesus died on the cross (kinda complicated, but i only have a limited amount of characters to work with) the "God works in mysterious ways" thing- I wouldn't say it like that, but I would say that if God allowed an unborn baby to die, He has a better reason than I, as a pregnant woman, would have to kill it myself- because that's not His will. I hope you don't think I'm shoving anything down your throat!
