Neil Finn from Crowded House starts to play with the camera man recording their Homebake 2008 gig but cops a thong (AKA a jandal) in the face from some hooligan in the crowd. Neil heckles him a little before the hooligan is ejected from the crowd by security.

No argument occurred no, and chances are the guy was inebriated on some substance. There are just always dickheads who insist on throwing shit up on stage. If I was to give him the benefit of the doubt I'd say he was aiming to get it on front of the camera, but seeing as he wasn't wearing a shirt (see him dragged out of the crowd in the vid) I'll have to go with him just being a dickhead.

I cant stand the Finn's music, or anything to do with acoustic guitars for that matter, but i know that guys is a musical icon and cult figure both in NZ and here, really hope that jerk copped such a beating that hes to shell shocked to go to a festival in the future

its all scheduling buddy, organisers who schedule more mellow acts in front of high energy ones are doing no favors to the mellow acts, im not condoning that behavour bit mellow music is not a good mix with something like Rage, when yorue catering to that sort of crowd you need the energy levels to stay constant.
