Feb 11, 2010 update of my shelf layout in HO scale. DCC top shelf, DC bottom shelf. 3 years in the making. This is my first layout. Learning as I go.

Looks really good, like how you've utilized the room, very nice job. Ive been doing something sort of similar the last 2yrs(during winter) with rec/bedroom thats 22x12'. F/P mantel sticks out 31"x72 wide(10" shelf on mantel), have frame work filling in long wall on that side. One short wall has 54" deep frame work. Other 2 walls have 16" shelf (long wall) & 6" shelf (short wall) Room for decent town (just starting) , 3yrds & 135' main in ho/dcc.
