Resolving "Error Parsing Properties List" in AE CS3 & CS4

Firstly, I take no responsibility for loss of data. Secondly, I strongly recommend you back up your 9.0 folder as described below before deleting the files.

This solution very easily helped me resolve the "After Effects Warning: Error Parsing Properties List". I do recommend you back up your ...c:/users/...../AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\9.0 folder.. just in case this doesn't work for you.

When I did receive the error message, I did receive a second error message advising AE crashed.

When I restarted AE, all the deleted files were replaced with new files.

@HaiDemon the folder maybe hidden. Goto folders options and show hidden folders
