tennessee was powerful? you mean the same tennessee team that only won 2 sec title in the 90s? the same teams that had p.manning and could never beat florida? only beat florida one time in the 90s?? that tennessee? auburn??? they were on probation forever and they didnt win anything in the 90s so i dont know where you got those names from....i'll give you UT a little bit but auburn? hell no it was all florida in the 90s from 90 to 2000 florida won 6 SEC titles enuff said.

@getyoasshome No excuses buddy. It's very difficult. Why do they need an excuse??? Florida should be very proud of what they accomplished and I believe they are. A few more NC's would be nice, but we Gator fans are proud of everything UF has done and support them. Remember Tennessee was very powerful, as was Auburn in the 90's. All is well here.

the point is that while miami was on probation...alabama was on probation and nobody else in the SEC was winning on a constant basis they should have won more than 1 national title than the one that jake plummer and arizona state gift wrapped them...what excuse does florida have for not winning? same with texas, michigan and ohio state...big state schools should always win titles.

@getyoasshome I think all GAtor fans with Florida had won more NC's, thats a given. Not really sure if you have any points to make here. Florida won 5 SEC titles in the 90's.

how many titles did florida win??? nobody remembers some random win when one team was good and the other stunk...besides texas i would have to say that florida is one of the most underachieving teams in college football until 2006.

florida could not beat FSU on the road point blank for damn near 20 years....thats a problem..its not about how many you win in a row its about winning period...how many titles did FSU snatch from florida? way too many. the same thing goes for florida state against miami from 82' to 1996 FSU beat miami in miami 2 times....thats a problem . florida should have won at least 3 or 4 titles in the 90s they always won the SEC...

florida is dominating FSU right now but it doesnt look right because FSU is down...when FSU was dominating florida the gators were a perennial powerhouse and SEC champs damn near every year. FSU is only a shell of what they used to be...people make a big deal out of miami being a little down but FSU hasnt been good since 2000.
