Since my CQB Master has not arrived yet - I decided to make some targets so when it does arrive, I can put it thru its paces.

Materials:
----------------

18" x 24" 22 gauge Aluminum sheet
Picture of Pepper Popper, Classic Popper & Mini Pepper & Mini Classic
http://www.ipsc.org/image/poppers.jpg
Sharpie
Tin Snips

Instructions
-------------------
cut out targets, trace onto sheeting, cut out with tin snips.

*Note: its so simple I didnt include it in the video

Anyway if you watch you see what I ended up with.

  • do you know wich aluminium you used to make the targets ? And did you bend the standing feets of the poppers when the aluminium was cold ? Or was it heated to melt temperature ? And do you know if all aluminium is bendable in cold form?

sorry for the many questions, but I thought aluminium will break when you try to bend.

  • @dionjulien Actually I think it was thin steel galvanized steel sheets. Easy enough to cut with tin snips and bend by hand.

    :)

  • @dionjulien P.S. In hindsight I would go with a heavier gauge steel so the bbs don't pit the metal so much. With these targets & need to hammer out the dings and repaint every so often.

    I hope this helps.

  • Hey Steve. On a scale of 1-10 how good do you think Airsoft is as a training platform.

  • @airsoftmasta102 1-10 with 1 being the best.

I would say the best #1 is real firearms & ammo training; #10 would be dry fire practice, so airsoft IMO would rate about a 4.

    :)

  • how long did shipping take?

  • they have different option for shipping - regular ground, express, 2-3 days, overnight, etc. If I remember right it took about 5-7 days for it to come in.

    :)
