2009 Texas A&M Predictions/Dave Campbell Part 1

I give my predictions on the 2009 Texas A&M Aggies and compare those to Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine. I look for the Aggies to not improve at all on the record and resume their role as the bottom team in the Big 12 South.

That's pretty reckless of you to say. You've spoken to Aggie Alumni and they will not be buying tickets or contributing to the boosters??? You have no basis for that comment and you probably never spoken to any aggies about this. We still support our team win or lose. I suggest to the rest of the big 12 to get your licks in now if you can, because in the future wins at Kyle will be hard to come by.

A&M will make a bowl game this season just 3 more wins coming from iowa state, maybe tech, k state, and colorado

we will win our first 3 arkansas is a toss up. ok st is a probable loss but a little tiny bit of a toss up because we are playing at kyle fld. k st. is a def. win they suck bad. tech is a toss up. iowa st is a def win. colorado is horrible this year, worse than we were last year. we lose to ou. baylor is overrated and we will beat them (kyle fld) and finally the game against ut, its a 50-50 toss up. Texas has not impressed me this year yet... aggies go between 7-5 and 9-3. 1% chance of 11-1

I'd have to say Mr. Campbell had it pretty dead on.

I'm looking towards next season. We have an amazing crop of really young talent returning as well as a new Def. coordinator.

JJ is coming back and has a little murmur of Heisman talk behind him. We have an outstadning crew of recievers coming back as well, so look for that same chemistry to be there on Offense. Our Defense will probably have a 3-4/4-4 look w/big blitz combinations, including the nation's leading Sacker,Von Miller. 10wins?

"resume their role as the bottom team in the big 12 sout"....as a reasonable fan, i know the aggies arent in national championship contention. However in the past 25 years we've had more seasons ranked in the top 10, than losing seasons.
