The Last Man Alive (Peyton Higgison)

I wrote this song thinking along the lines of a "show tune". I picture a musical and this is about a man who's girl is gone and he's not taking it all that well. He's hold up in his apartment, not leaving for anything, living off the scraps of whatever food he can find and basically just letting himself go to hell. His mind is beginning to warp and he begins to imagine what it might be like if there were no world outside his door and he was the last man alive.

Feels out of a " film noir, musical satire" if there is such a thing; in the style of Sweeny Todd. Great imagery in the lyrics.
