Colorado huh, we used to take my dads 81 gl and beat the piss out of it in an area that looked alot like that, i was to little to remember what it was called but he loved that car. Now that ive been driving for a few years i understand why, i had an 86 GL, 02 WRX, and my new toy an 80 BRAT :) SUBARU ALL DAY!

can somebody tell how to lift this model of subaru's i have one exactly like it well mine is 82 gl 4x4 dual range and i love but it sits to low eventhough i never get stuck in it i would like to lift a little thanks to who ever can reply to me and nice rig

cool, thanks for the reply, beautiful spot in colorado. Our wheeling spots down here in san diego are nice, too. But I have an affinity for water/mud/etc...so we've made a couple trips up to N. cali and montana to whet my appetite.

It's not AWD... It's a 4x4 dual range.

Actually... it IS AWD. It has a transmission from a late 80's subaru RX that is AWD and dual range with a center diff lock switch. The solenoid wasn't working this day so it wouldn't lock into 4x4 and was stuck in AWD.
