Hoover Minor Model 200B - 1934

Hoover Minor Model 200B. This model was never sold in the US. It was made and sold in the UK for 1934 only. Mine is serial # 2764.

It's physically larger than the original Minor/Duster 200. The chassis is different, it stands higher from the floor, and it uses the newer motor from Model 425, not Model 575. It's rated at 210w.

The difference in motors means that they sound totally different too, the original Minor/Duster 200 is much higher-pitched.

I too was frightened by the model 375 which my Mother bought reconditioned from the North Eastern Electricity Board. By the time I was born she also had a grey senior.

I have got the 375 and it is in good condition.
