Shiseido Control Color Stick and Guerlain Kohl Application!

I just wanted to tell you a little more about the Shiseido Control Color Stick Foundation and how I apply it. It's basically a primer you use underneathe foundation. And just a little more about me applying the Guerlain Kohl in Noir- showing you how it's done. Hope this helps =)

Hi, sorry for the long time answering this, I don't check my comments very often =X So bad! The Guerlain Kohl is just about the same as traditional kohl however the major plus is that it does not have lead in it. The problem with most kohls out there (arabic and indian) is that they have lead in them which is very bad!! That was pretty much my justification for the Guerlain though they turned out to be absolutely amazing =) Hope that helps!

Hey! i was wondering if Guerlain is safe to use with contacts? and i was also wondering if u could just use tht control color stick as foundation?

Hey hun!! I'm actually not sure whether or not it is safe, but I know a few people that do wear contacts and use the Guerlain Kohl, they just find application a bit tricky (using a brush instead of the stick). The Control Color has a greenish tint to it that would probably show, but if you're going for a deathly look (hey sometimes I am =)) go for it! Otherwise, I would def recommend applying a foundation- even a sheer powder foundation- over. Hope that helps =)

Hey, basically my skin has quite uneven skin tone (like brown splotches from spot scars-not actually dents....i know yuck) But I've been looking for a foundation that will cover them because most foundations don't, and concealer is too oily and will fade during the day. Will this work for me? I know the name of the control stick, but what was the second product you used on your skin? Thanks! x

Hi there, I also use the Shiseido Control Color Stick but I noticed that it starts to crease near the eye area :( do you have any tips how to prevent this? Should I use a translucent powder to set the concealer? If so, do you have a favourite brand?

Can you use compact powder after you put that stick control? My skin is oily, I never put fluid powders.

I agree with coolkittey2.. Im a middle eastern and that kohl application method is the way my grandma used to wear her kohl in the very old days.. Interesting, i might think of buying that one and try it out, i think it looks much better than the pencil eyeliners im using specially with my wide eyes.. I also will definitely get the Shiseido Control Color Stick, I think it works well.. Thank you so much for your review, it was really helpful :)
