Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R in the snow.

A pair of less than smart drivers decide to take an Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R out for a spin in the salty, slushy snow in Seattle. The R8 seemed to have no issues making its way up the very small hill, the GT-R on the other hand was just spinning its wheels. Both ended up retreating to a downhill plowed road instead.

You can't give the GT-R guy too much grief, I'm sure that putting snow tires on the car will void the warranty and/or break the transmission.

gotta have snow rated tires in those conditions for this situation. Summer UHP tires for these high performance cars clearly state they are NOT for heavy snow. This video simply confirms that fact. No big deal.

@iXetsuei it wouldn't do either of those... putting studded or snow chains would. It void's the warranty on my a4 if i do those..

awd is nothing without proper rubber just saying! Both of those cars are more than capable for the conditions, it just needs all seasons or winter tires.
