The Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Korcula took us to watch a Croatia v Russia friendly water polo match. The water polo club is situated on the coast and is basically a sea water pool with inlet and outlet at each end which allows the sea water to flow through. The atmosphere and setting has similarities to the Bicton water polo pool but much more spectacular.The whole atmosphere of the club and the audience reminds us very much of a blend of a football match and a surf canival. Big focus here on wimming and a great atmosphere with a really good sense of a community in the club.
