Street Fighter 2 - Retro Russian - Remixed by McVaffe

The '80s was when I started getting not only into games but into music as well, and this is a homage of sorts to some of the synth-pop goodness of the time. I didn't know how else to tackle a remix of the Zangief theme from SF2 so I figured this style would be an interesting take on the song.

Digging the retro sound. Nice opening arp deal. Percussion comes in as you would expect, but in a very good way. All of those analog synths meld together quite nicely.

2:27 best part. Everything comes together.

This is easily in my top three remixes from ocremix of all time. To be completely honest though, this is the one mix that I always come back to and have actively played for other people who I konw are SF fans. Fucking LOVE IT man. Good work.

By the way, I first heard it on a breakdown vid/trailer posted on Gametrailers. Did you get any change for that?
