  • I enjoyed this video. I enjoy how casual you are on camera. I am working with a propane smoker now, i moved away from a rigged charcoal elevator grill because I was having issues with keepin it up to temp. I look forward to checkin out some more of your vids, keep it up.

  • Thanks for the comment and for watching! Hopefully I'll have a video on how to trim up spare ribs and 3-2-1 smoking method for them before long

  • There's nothing wrong with gas, but it gets expensive.

That's why I opted for an electric smoker.

  • No, there isnt, and it takes a LOT less attention than my charcoal burner does. The gasser is cheaper to run than my chargriller is too. I only use Royal Oak lump in it and they sure are proud of it, but it burns hotter and more complete than briquettes do. I would like to have a Lang 60 trailer one of these days that way i can burn straight wood, i can get all the hickory, oak and maple i want for the price of gas to pick it up. Thanks for checkin out my video

  • nice video about smoking...theres nothing wrong with a gas smoker......if ya do it right its hard to tell the differance in the meat....i could eat that whole roast for a snack......bigger is better or two or three while yer at it.....looked very good

  • Thanks! You are absolutely right about there is nothing wrong with gas... especialy if you dont wanna mess with it for 10 hrs straight.
