It is God's infinite justice that you will receive infinite condemnation. Because you have rebelled against the infinite Creator, thus you will get what you deserve. Now, God also offers infinite mercy, which none of us deserve, that is heaven. But, it is conditioned on your proper response to His Son, Christ.

God's reaction to our willfulness, arrogance, disobedience--whatever you want to call it--doesn't even make sense; rage of such intensity that it demands eternal torture only seems a logical reaction to an equal, a hated enemy. No adult would react that way to a disrespectful child, because adults know that they're so much more mature--in terms of wisdom, experience, knowledge of right and wrong. They can be "the bigger person," in short. And yet God is supposed to be infinitely bigger than us.
