i got some emails like that a few months back. it doesn't to do with army but i think some crisis in some country. apparently i had the same last name as this guy. i removed my last name from my email profile & haven't heard from them since.
you know, there must be something to this Anderson thing. i mean, capt kenneth Anderson, Mrs Anderson? as said before, i get alot of e-mails like this, but its usually from somebody anderson. maybe the same person? I dont know.

Yeah, they tend to use common names. But I used to get many with odd names where these people are claiming to be from Brazil or Africa, stating something I'm entitled to like almost 500,000 and to claim it I need to contact them. They always say... "We've your money", etc. Bullcrap. They're just looking for some schmuck who will give them their personal info and rip them off.

loool you actually fell for it? how much money did they get if any?

Oh no no, I didn't fall for it. It's just I get a zillion of these emails every week. This is the first I got from some "supposed" Capt. from the Army. I decided to Vlog about it. It disgusts me that someone can pretend to be in the army and pull this shit. No doubt, there are naive people out there who fall for it.

I have a couple email accounts. This particular email came through YAHOO mail. I expect such spam to come through even though I have a spam filter set up. But they keep sending this nonsense through various email addresses. This one was actually from a person with a gmail account.
