He may have used his Explorer for the studio version, but he played it on a Strat live, even as early as 1981. Anyway, keep working at it. You're very close.

Edge doesn't used Strats in 1980, because the first guitar he had on U2 was an Explorer.

Very close...a couple things weren't quite right, but very nice job overall. Nice tone, too, although I'm sure you know Edge uses a Strat for this tune.
