Melvin Frank Marshall, performing live on violin at the Civic Center BART/Muni Station, San Francisco, September 4, 2007.

Melvin says he has written over 180 songs. This is one of them.

An "About Melvin Frank Marshall" short is in the works, and hopefully should show up soon.

  • I hope you've found your brother and he's safe and sound, Willie. He's truly an inspirational musician. That kind of passion and creativity is hard to come by.

  • sf has so many famous people like that.i saw the tin man that stands like a statue.

  • sam him once at fishermans wharf when i was over there, absolutely insane lol, kinda amazing..

  • wow, that's actually kinda catchy. Reminds of Stravinsky or something. Sounds good to my ears. I like his singing and the percussion effects...

  • I see this man every morning I have school, he plays his violin at the Civic Center Bart Station. He is innovative with his violin techniques, sometimes using a drum stick (my bf gave to him) or insense stick instead of a bow to create different sounds. He has such a genuine sould when he speaks, even though it takes him a second to get his thoughts out, it is always worth it! People like him are rare in this world, thats why i love SF!

  • Musicians should always be measured by enthusiasim and love of what they are doing over what we percieve as talent. This man is a fine example of that.

  • dude just saw this guy 3 days ago greatest thing ive ever seen
