This is just a simple PWM test using an AVRand an 74HC595 ShiftRegister.

Hy!
PWM with a HC595 works like a normal PWM.
Jou just have to send the PWM data cyclic to the shiftregister.
If you send a whole byte every cycle you'll get a 8-port PWM.
Make the PWM data width 16 bit or greater to get a good result.
