I never bothered to watch this show until I heard that the American Ambassador to Canada hated it. Now that I seen it, I love it

I get the humor but at the same time I get so frustrated watching it because I know some white people ARE this ignorant. I hope it helps to educate those people while providing a positive media view of Muslim life (even if it is the sitcom-style version).

I love this show, but a muslim who would leave salat, just because of a noise is unbelievably stupid.

This episode was a little over the top, but the comedy and storyline gets SOO much better as the show progresses

ok trying to integrate people is a good idea but this just is not funny, not funny at all, really not funny, I did not laugh once, this is worse than Dharma and Greg. I will never watch this again

The show is fucking satire. Of course it's not shocking for Canadians to see Muslims practicing their religion. It's merely making fun of the cliche that westerner's aren't up to date with other religions. Dude you seriously have to loosen up and not take everything on TV at face value.

Amen
I love it. I find it hilarious because this show depicts most of the misconceptions that muslims and people in general have about each other's religions. It's meant to be satire, not to be taken as it is, because let's be real - nobody would do half the things that happens here in real life. It's meant to exaggerate the situations that do occur and put them in a funny light for everyone to enjoy, muslims alike. It's not "ruining" anything. People need to stop judging and loosen up.

It's pretty much like this in any sitcoms, the characters act weird when it's not really like that in real life.
