I don't have heartburn often, but when i do, it hurts like a b*tch! i have difficulty swallowing food;been this way for prob for Year an a Half now!! What Does This MEAN??! I told my parents but they don't understand..and have no concern.. Don't get me wrong my parents are nice. They prob don't wanna waste money on getting me checked out when theres nothing wrong. But i swear something is wrong when i cant swallow food easily!! Any ADVICE? Ty

ive had gerd since i was 10... its gotten so bad but doctors react really damm slow and the economy these days makes so hard to get insurance or pay to get checked. ive been to the e.r many times, all they did was numb my esophagus out for pain. so far i have pain, burning, pressure, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, nausea, regurgitation and the occasional blood...

I had it for years. I got rid of it by eating apples. At least two a day. Morning, and an hour before bed. Try it. If it works post a reply here.

I just found out I had it, what made me go to the doctors was the pain in my chest like I was having a heart attack. Tightness around my throat, hard to swallow but there was never any burning. Just second day on my meds and watching what I eat. Dr said I should feel better in a few days.

i thinki may have gerd, but i dont get any heart burns ? i always feel like i have something stuck in my throat but i know theres nothing there, i find it hard to sleep because my throat is being aggrivated, its weird :/ im 16 aswell
