DIY Indoor Greenhouse (Grow Plants Indoors)

I built two small indoor green houses and experiment with various plants to grow. I show all the parts and describe them so you can build your own. My first is a fish tank, and the second is a trash can. I give the specs on the temperature for the trash can as well.

@NackRoss If you plan on using miracle grow or other chemicals you will need to get proper drainage. I have a reservoir of plastic containers upside down at the bottom to keep a "figurative" underground pond. The idea is the plants should do a great job absorbing water themselves... and I want the roots to grow deep. 2 Ideas: 1: put a hose in and use elevation as a siphon effect. 2: Get a Pool side attachment for hoses also think about how high you want it from the bottom for sitting water

@cruzin33 No. I did use howto videos from youtube on that topic to study indoor growth. Because that was the best source of information. But I don't grow that myself.

@burntbit Same. I've watched so many weed growing videos but never plan to grow it myself. For starters I can't even go near the stuff without getting a headache.

I found that those videos on youtube contain more useful information on indoor growing then anything else... but that is not my purpose in indoor green houses.

I like this idea and think it's exactly what I need for starting our vegetable garden plants. We don't have the best direct sunlight situation in our house as we have big trees that block it. I haven't had much success starting plants indoors.

I am going to use our son's old terraium and setup a little started station. This way I can use our basement instead of our living room window. Thanks for the tips.
