So certainly the Flag represents racism, as racist white supremacy was a founding tenant of the Confederacy and part and parcel with the slavery that the CSA was based on.

Well the South at the time recognized they were representing racism.

But their premises being false, their conclusions are false also.

Thats right A Flag should be treated with respect and dignity it's the southern herritage not a racust symbol such as a Swastikha is not a Fascist symbol it the people who take and miss use it who are the racists

I've read much more than textbooks and "Yankee" articles.
I've been objective and have seen it from both sides. Southerner or not, your facts are twisted, and no, I don't feel like debating someone who gets their information from fallacious and biased sources.
I completely understand why @Rundstedt1 is getting so upset with you and has used a few colorful words. That's how normal people get when someone is so thickheaded about something so black & white. (No pun intended.)
