B. Scott Crawford has more than 15 years experience in education, including teaching US History at the high school and college levels, as well as serving as the social studies coordinator, K-12, for a public school division in Virginia. He is currently the director of education for the Taubman Museum of Art, located in Roanoke, Virginia. In this capacity he has developed unique and innovative ways to bring the fine arts into core content classrooms. He is available to lead motivational speaking sessions as well as workshops to encourage teachers to implement proven strategies to engage students, develop higher level thinking skills, and still find success on standardized tests.
