This is the "VISIONTAC V-900" GPS Logger. It records every second your Position, Time, Height, Speed, Heading. With a 2GB MicroSD you can recort about 25Million waypoints= 288days nonstop. The battery holds about 20 hours in Logging mode.
Later you can use "TimeAlbum" software and Geotagg picture automaticly. That means it writes in every JPEG in the EXIF the Coordinates. So you seen example in Google Earth, Flickr, Picasa, exactly the position of each picture! +-10m.
Cost about 100USD. Very nice device!
(Columbus-V900 is the same device)
I've had two of these so far. The first one, I lost after I accidentally left it on the roof of my car and drove away. I'm still using the second one ... but, after leaving the 12DC plugged into the unit to use the "Auto ON/OFF" feature for several weeks straight, the case expanded rapidly (not quite an explosion) and can't be closed. It's still functional, but for how long? Who knows.
ABSOLUTELY ZERO response for support from either the merchant or the manufacturer. No replies to emails.

How many hours does the battery last? I know it says 20-24 hours, but I expect it to be less with actual use.
