If you have a GameCube disk, controller and ( optional ) Memory Card, than yes. You can play GameBoy on Will illegaly if you have the Homebrew channel.

what he did was go into the game data, and change all the values for the color yellow (coins, boxes, background and such) to the value code for baby ble... its actually quite a simple mod, though i am curious about what program he used to do so... most likely a memory scanner such as CheatEngine 4
