  • Oh! I wish I could! It is my dream to see live wrestling in Japan. Japanese wrestling is the best in the world. I do not have the money to travel, but if I did, Japan would be number one on my list!

  • Wao! you replied so fast!!

Kyohei still does refering today. So if you have a chance to go live match, you can shout "Kyohei!!"

  • Thank you *SO* much! I have wanted to know that for years! You have been a big help.

  • I do not know if you could still check this comment as your question was almost 1 year ago. To answer your question, the announcer said "Referee is Kyohei Wada" which was the referee's name in this match. Since everyone knew he would be refereeing very well, they cheered Kyohei by shouting his name after the aanouncement. This was popular movement to enjoy AJPW.

  • This is a dream of a finals match. Four of the greatest of all-time and 2 great teams. It's amazing how influential matches like these are, yet many don't know they exist.

    RIP Misawa.

  • It's the crowd respecting the referee...who was always the ref for the huge matches.

  • 6:10-6:15 Misawa and Akiyama do a lil jig to the crowd chants of Misawa lol

  • Here's a question for any bilingual folks out there: what is it that the All Japan announcer says at the end of his introduction of the match, and what does the crowd respond in unison? I've heard this on a lot of AJPW shows, and have always been curious. (it occurs about 7:42)

    Thanks!
