Rubin is an idiot....clearly. BEASTIE BOYS? Are you kidding Josh? Total mismatch...Josh is light years ahead of any 'delusional' ability, at least as far as Rubin is concerned. Lest we forget....Beastie Boys has relied completely on production...NOT talent. If it wasn't for the production crew "Beastie Boys" would have been "Beaten...boys". They learned something, but not much...obviously.

BORING... I am a guy, prefer rock and such and my wife loves Josh as all wives do. I actually didnt mind awake, in fact I even went to the concert in Milwaukee. however, the new album is boring. every song sounds the exact same. even the ones in a foreign language. My wife was even disappointed. I will admit he has a great voice and the duet with Sarah Mcglacklan or however you spell it at live8 was awesome. He does not show anything in this album, the songs are boring and the writing is weak.
