Currently, science doesn't support the concept of race. The Nazi's were a bunch of lunatics that believed in all sorts of weird shit... that they might have called science but which wasn't.

Genocidal conflicts in the former Yugoslavia was an event based on ethnic tensions that go back to before the enlightenment. Jews were also being massacred in Europe during the middle ages, because of their race and religion. The massacre of Tutsis by Hutus in Rwanda had little to do with science.

What about the Roman Genocide of the Carthaginians? Both the Romans and Greeks referred to anyone outside their own society as barbarians, which seems a concept very similar to racism. They also found it quite entertaining to feed christians to lions and were quite fond of keeping slaves. The use of violence to subjugate a people was very widespread in the Ancient world. The Old Testament itself is a story of one people defeating and replacing another.

The only way is to find an entirely new system that is not based on currency. Which is impossible. We'd have to restructure society and societal concepts. We'd have to abandon a lot of agricultural ideals. Tribalism seems to be a bad thing when the tribes engage themselves into the political and religious arena Also when the spirit of comparison becomes a factor, then this too breeds violence and division. Internationalism is good when the different cultures and their status upon every level are respected. But it becomes an issue when those who are in one particular tribe imposes internationalism upon all others and assert that they are uniting the world through methods of degradation/colonization
