Sorry for the video issues from around 2:13 onwards. Video & Audio pick back up at 11:09 minutes.

Our police state at its finest. Officers last name is Escamilla from the L.A.P.D. I believe. Here he is shown pointing a gun at a peaceful reporter.

I'm not sure of the specific legalities of this but it sure isn't an example of what a public servant should be doing; point the gun foolishly or even participating in pro-police state idiocy. Be sure to like/share to get this information out.

The recorder of this video can be found on Twitter @OakFoSho.

  • I spent some time tonight learning about your movement- I have to say your generation is brave, intelligent and unbelievably right.

I sincerely hope that you achieve these changes.Watching the u streams and the vids here, I could not believe how amazing all of you are. Non violent, intelligent and devoted to social justice. I cried when I realized that this country really does have some hope after all.

    Thanks

    Lisa James

  • He was clearly in vilation of the Firearms Code.

Even if there was some need to use physical suppression to arrest peaceful protestors, there is no doubt there are non-lethal weapons that could be used in the stead of firearms.

As a number of videos of tennaged girls demonstrates, that works just as well on a non-violent innocent citizen.

RE:Media blackout. Clearly this occured. Who gave the order is not clear. Nor is it illegal per se. Just a sign and symptom of a broken system.

  • people that dont suppor protest are fuc++ng cowards. hiding themselves behind an "I support the system" BS. at the same time they get stabbed in the back by their loved bankers, retailers, health insurance companies... when they are really afraid of the police.

  • @charlesfrith's Of course I am for the right for someone to protest, In fact I think it is more needed now then anytime in my life. Not sure how you thought I meant otherwise. WE must unite and demand that our rights to peacefully assemble are no longer ignored. :)

  • @mtnd00 ...then go live it. who is stopping you?

  • @kissahh1 add 1 to the growing list of supporters? :)

  • @sabrina6870 You're kidding right? The U.N. condemned us and you think that is new, or that it matters? The U.N. condemns us all the time. The U.N. condemns a lot of countries a lot of the time. Their condemnation is the equivalent of the the local crackpot that stands on his porch and yells at passing kids for walking too close to his lawn. Their most famous case of condemnation is when they condemned Egypt for invading Israel as U.N. troops watched the tanks roll by and did nothing.

  • Cops have always been for the money people, and since money equals power, those with power.
