This is a great program. I would recommend this over the chips any day. How would anyone know you have a chip in your pet? and how about if the person doesn't have a chip reader? It won't help you in the least.

No, not really.
Most microchip companies also offer collar ID tags with the microchip number on them so a locator can call the company and the company can get the owner's info and call them, getting the locator and owner on line. And unlike these IDs, the chip stays in the pet for life, where as a collar CAN be removed, broken, etc.
Chips are still the best- but 9 times out of 10, owners do not always update their info- & forget they even have an ID system as this when time comes to use it.

WOW! This sure beats microchipping your pet and the part I like the best is that anyone who has a phone or an internet connection can be part of the process of easily and safely getting a valued pet member of your family back home. This is truly a great service.
"A family pet is lost every two seconds. Over ten million pets become lost each year. One out of every three pets is lost during its lifetime, and only one in ten lost pets is found." (National Humane Society and the National Council of Pet Population Study and Policy).
