L1 visa has more loopholes than H1B visa which allows the family members to work too.

India has been getting away with MASS FRAUD and RAPE of the American economy for over 10 years now. The massive '98 '00 increases were in the MILLIONS and they are still here. USA is STILL handing out over 300,000 visas of all sorts to Indians every single year. Where will the jobs come from? If India can buy PR in the news and lie about America needing millions of H-1B then Dobbs can lie on his program to keep them out.

H-1Bs are working so hard to prevent the truth from being told BECAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF BEING DISCOVERED. They know they are frauds an conmen and that if the American people find out the truth, they will be DEPORTED IMMEDIATELY which is what all Indians fear the most. They all fear having to go back to their mud puddle called India and FACING LIFETIME UNEMPLOYMENT. LOL.

Absolutely... I don't deny that there is a lot of H1-B fraud happening. What I am saying is that the people like Lou Dobbs who are making a career out of reporting H1-B fraud are not above lying and cheating to make their point.

A research worker... what the hell is a research worker? There is no such designation at any university. You have to be a PhD student... a postdoc... a tenure track prof or a tenured professor. Research worker could probably be used as a generic term for them...

Why are you working so hard to prevent the truth from being tolled? And how is it your 24 years old and a tenure professor? And since when is a research worker given tenure like a college professor? Age discrimination in America is bad enough and the H-1B just makes it easier to replace an older more experienced and higher paid American worker with a younger worker who would normally start at the bottom of the pay scale be they American or Foreign.

Nitpicking. The point of the report was that the H-1B is being used to replace Americans in academia with (cheaper) imported "scientists".
Having worked in Silicon Valley for 16 years, there is also the question of just how smart these people are we bring in. Most of them are being TRAINED by Americans. So there is not just the replacement issue, but also a FRAUD issue (since smarter Americans are training the people we import).

Also notice the line "less money and longer hours" What does longer hours mean? Do you think researchers are paid by the hour? Do you think research scientists punch a clock? In this case the reporter has obviously lied, taking advantage of the fact that not many are aware of how universities are structured.
