The Worlds First!! NHL Hockey Card, OctoRod. Stanley Cup!!

This Cups prowd owner is a now retired NHL Hockey Player!! Introducing my latest creation!! Thanks to Octorod.

This 2010 One of a kind, Actual size!! NHL Hockey Card Stanley Cup took me over 300 hours of pure Fun to create!! And about 700 NHL Hockey cards, and lots of Glow in the dark clips that hold the cards together called Octorods!!

The cup from bottom to top of the bowl is 35 1/4 inches!! the diameter of the base is 17 ¼ inches and the diameter of the bowl is 11 inches!! The total cup is very very close to actual size!!

The cards are all placed randomly!! No specific order!! Except for contrast only!!

The cup comes apart just above the barrel, so that all the many great NHL players inside the cup can be viewed very Easley!! The cards are a mix of players over the years!! The bottom of the barrel also holds about 4000 cards in storage!! as well!!

The cup lights up using 2 strings of lights that never get warm!! And it looks really cool in a dark room!! Or a lit room!! But when the lights go out the Octorods glow in the dark and is totally amazing to see!!

Not all the players on the this cup are Stanley cup winners!! thats because I believe that all Hockey players are winners and will forever be in this creative cup!!

When I got the idea to build this cup it was to Honor the Game of Hockey, the NHL, and all the hockey players of all time!! Hockey is allot like art to me!! Because the first goal is always to have Fun!!

The Octorod clip that holds the cards together is a great toy that was invented by a Father and Son team!! Paul and Tanner!! Octorod.com

I realized that after building 2 Stanley cups and a Grey cup out of cards would never be possible with out Octorod!! Its an amazing and creative invention!! Thanks Paul and Tanner for Octorod!! And your Friendship!!/ Pj
