you are PARTLY correct. they did tour the states in 89, but albeit cancelled the stour 2 weeks into it cuz lack of record promotion. in the uk, they did rather well on tour

@chrisdrumz, in fairness to Sabbath, according to Iommi the record company made them call it a Black Sabbath, they wanted to call themselves Seventh Star, same thing happened when Ian Gillan sang with them, they wanted to call that band Born Again.

I recently became a fan of Black Country Communion and it made me remember this show in Detroit. W.A.S.P. blew Sabbath off the stage. Glen had the lyrics to Paranoid taped to the stage and when the smoke machine came on he couldn't see the lyrics, so he stumbled through them. I remember the crowd not being happy...

Awesome performance, but one can tell here that Glenn wasn't really used to be wothout his bass; his moves are somewhat odd and unfrontman-ish lol

glenn hughes great singer...god bless you.

@aruizi Glenn has lost his voice? lol.

I would've enjoyed the show(and album) if it wasn't trying to be passed off as SABBATH. Aside from Tony ,the band from 86-92 was in NO WAY Sabbath(aside from name only). Serious damage was done to the name in that period. They didn't even tour the states in '89 cause they couldn't sell any tix(guess rock fans are NOT that stupid). The band should've been called IOMMI and toured theatres or larger clubs.
