@MrComanche250 ... I hate to tell you, but that was hardly a turn onto final. He start too early, as evident by him holding of about 30 deg. to the runway heading, then he corrects too late and overshoots the center line. He is way below the glide path and has to add power about half a mile before the threshold. He continuously flies the plane so uncoordinated that the PIC takes the controls twice to correct and on short final yells at him "Steer!". Nothing wrong with learning though.
VMC is about 80kts with Vortex generators installed. Without them its in the 90 range. Stall speed is less than that, probably 70 or so with full flaps. Its a bit of a hot airplane but easy to fly, its not a twin commander but you can stop it rather quickly if you wan't to.
Isn't the aerostar's stall speed something like 80? Never flown one but when they first came out I drolled all over a magazine ad I saw for them. They claimed to be the fastest twin prop plane built back in the mid 70's. At the time I owned a Cesna 310 and would have given just anything for an aerostar. He did seem to be in a hurry to get on the ground!
He is in the traffic pattern turning base to final and he cuts the power all the back just before they cross the threshold of the runway....what video did you watch ?....have you ever flown a Aerostar ?.....(they land very fast)....lamo
lmao this landing is hilarious! You just pushed that bird onto the ground, never once came back on the power. Fuck the traffic pattern and all of its rules lol!
