how about the holding penalties on BOTH of Dymonte Thomas' long TD runs that weren't called?
It sucks for Marlington, but the official that made the call on the fumble was on the Louisville side of the field and he was shielded by the players...from my seat, I also thought it was a ground caused fumble...watching the replay on TV however...it was a fumble. Marlington had ample opportunities to stop the Leopards after the fumble, however...so, their D is just as much to blame as the ref.
@ReBeLRaZoRBaCkV I know its last year, but last year Salem was a playoff team but they only beat West Branch 21-18. They weren't real impressive beating Carrollton 34-17 either... Alliance on the other hand scored 27 points in the 4th quarter to beat West Branch like 55-26. Minerva and Alliance are on the road too and the Leopards get Salem at home...that's why I'm more worried about Alliance, but I could be wrong.
@leopardsmedia You're afraid of Alliance? I was told Alliance was nothing to worry about. Now Salem on the other hand I heard was the black horse just coming into the NBC and all.
@ReBeLRaZoRBaCkV True statement. Salem isn't the one to be worried about going to Minerva and to Alliance is what will have me sweating as a Leps fan. Alliance the most, their talent can take over at any time.
@leopardsmedia I'm not lingering on it. And I meant Marlington didn't need that win like you guys did. You guys needed it to even have a chance at the playoffs, we're ranked 13 in the state this will be our only loss. But from what I'm hearing Salam is supposed to be good, so watch out.
@ReBeLRaZoRBaCkV Hopefully the Dukes don't linger on it like you, or else there gonna miss the playoffs that Region is tough as nails. But I must say your logic is incorrect, if Marlington didn't need that call they would have won, which they did not.
@leopardsmedia Guess what I was there too. It was a crap call, there were a lot of them all night. But it's not like Marlington need that as bad as you guys did.
@rruffbw2177 You are correct sir, Louisville regains possession at the 43 yard line where his knee hit, even though the ball was out. It was a horrible call, not denying that one at all.
@ReBeLRaZoRBaCkV Actually it was ruled a catch and that the player was down by contact. I was there. I have the fumble on youtube under "marlington get hosed"
