  • who on earth pressed the dislike button?

  • great job tony! Marty is a tough act to follow, but i loved the great trick you taught me in this lesson

  • Thanks!

  • @thesenselesswonder ahahahahaha, I was just about to write the same thing!

  • All cool. I just think that this is a good way of developing transcribing skills also. I think it does help your transcribing by being able to sing along to the notes. Yeah my mate is doing jazz at college now but for drums. He is a mad drummer but still has difficulty transcribing a bit when they tell him to listen to like a Miles Davis song and transcribe everything including the solos. Good luck with everything. Hope all goes well.

  • I pretty much have it down by the fact there is only one half step between B and C, and E and F which correspond to the fret distance between the notes.

Plus, I joined the Jazz Ensemble in my college this semester and learned more than I could ever imagine about chords based on roots and multiple voicings.

Can't wait to play 20 days from now. I almost got my parts down, Three lines away from finishing one of their songs and the other song is a series of easy chord changes so it'll be good.

  • No worries buddy. If ya need any other tips, just let me know.
